Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 April 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by TechsOn.pt. By purchasing any of our plans, you declare that you have read, understood and fully accept these terms.
1. Definitions
- "TechsOn.pt", "we", "our": the entity providing the services.
- "Client", "user", "you": the natural or legal person who purchases our services.
- "Services": creation, configuration, hosting, maintenance and support of websites.
- "Website": the website developed for the Client.
2. Subject of the contract
TechsOn.pt undertakes to develop, host and maintain a professional website for the Client, in accordance with the contracted plan and the information provided by the Client.
3. Plans and pricing
Our plans are:
- Basic: €50 one-time setup + €39/month
- Pro: €50 one-time setup + €59/month
- Premium: €50 one-time setup + €99/month
All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force. The setup fee is charged once at the start of the contract. The monthly fee is charged in advance at the beginning of each period.
4. Delivery timeframe
We commit to delivering the website online within 24 business hours after (a) payment confirmation and (b) receipt of all necessary information from the Client. Websites with a full online store (Premium) may take up to 48 hours.
Delays caused by lack of information from the Client are not our responsibility.
5. Client obligations
- Provide truthful, up-to-date and complete information
- Ensure you hold the rights to all content submitted (texts, images, logos)
- Not use the website for illegal, offensive or purposes contrary to public order
- Keep login credentials secure and not share them with third parties
- Pay monthly fees on time
6. TechsOn.pt obligations
- Deliver the website within the agreed timeframe
- Guarantee service availability (99.9% monthly uptime)
- Perform daily backups
- Apply security updates
- Provide technical support during business hours via email and WhatsApp
- Respect the confidentiality of Client data
7. 30-day guarantee
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If within the first 30 days after website delivery you are not satisfied, we will fully refund the setup fee paid. The refund does not apply to costs of domains already registered in the Client's name.
8. Payments
We accept payments via Multibanco, MBWay, Card (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe) and bank transfer. Invoices are issued automatically through software certified by the Portuguese Tax Authority (Moloni / InvoiceXpress).
Non-payment of two consecutive monthly fees may result in temporary suspension of the service, with 7 days prior notice.
9. Domain and intellectual property
The domain acquired by TechsOn.pt is registered in the Client's name, who holds its ownership. The website content (texts, images) belongs to the Client. The source code of proprietary TechsOn.pt templates and components remains our intellectual property.
10. Cancellation
The Client may cancel the monthly subscription at any time, without lock-in or penalties, by email communication with at least 5 days' notice. After cancellation, we deliver a copy of the website files so the Client can migrate them.
11. Limitation of liability
TechsOn.pt is not responsible for (a) loss of revenue or profits by the Client; (b) interruptions resulting from causes beyond our control (force majeure, DDoS attacks, external provider failures); (c) content published by the Client; (d) misuse of the management panel by the Client.
The total liability of TechsOn.pt is limited to the amount paid by the Client in the last 12 months.
12. Data protection
The processing of the Client's personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the services after changes take effect implies acceptance.
14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute, the courts of the district of TechsOn.pt's registered office shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
15. Alternative dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entities: www.consumidor.gov.pt.
